Will Rogers Scout Reservation | Cleveland, OK

Founded 1939

Welcome to Will Rogers Scout Reservation
Welcome to Will Rogers Scout Reservation, the premier Boy Scout Summer Camp of the Cimarron Council. WRSR is located 4.5 miles west of Cleveland, Oklahoma on Highway 64 in Pawnee County.

The camp consists of approximately 340 hilly acres of oak and hickory forest with its northern boundary being bluffs overlooking the Arkansas River. The camp features a centralized dining hall with regional shower facilities and program areas, plenty of room to roam, explore, and learn.

Directions - From Enid get on 412 East and take the first toll booth after Mcdonald's which is the Hallett Exit.   Get in the right hand lane because you will exit and get on Highway 99 North immediately after paying the toll.  Approximately 4 miles North you will come to the junction of Highway 64 and 99.  Turn right or East and travel 1 1/4 miles to the Will Rogers Scout Reservation sign which is at the top of the hill

When traveling West on 412 from Tulsa, take the Cleveland exit at Highway 64 and 48.  Follow Highway 64 into Cleveland.  Turn left at stop light and follow Highway 64 and 99 for 4/5 miles turning right at Will Rogers Scout Reservation sign which is at the top of the hill.

Boy Scout Summer Camp can be the most fulfilling experience that a Scout ever has. The activities that he participates in will stay with him long after he grows into manhood. This summer we will showcase Scouting for units across the Cimarron Council and from surrounding states. Our goal is to provide quality instruction in a wilderness setting to young men as they prepare to become our Country's leaders.

We encourage you to make this camp available to every youth in your unit. We are gearing up for our 2008 Summer Camp Season and registration information will be available soon.

Writing to your Scout
We encourage families to write to Scouts while at camp. Mail typically takes 2 or 3 days to reach camp from places like Enid or Stillwater. To insure that letters and cards arrive in time, parents may want to send them at the very beginning of the week; by Tuesday at the latest.

Friday Night and Visiting Will Rogers Scout Reservation
Parents are always welcome at camp. Visitors must check in at the Administration Building upon arrival at camp. Friday evening is Family night with a special meal and activities. Dinner is at 6:30pm and families are invited. Troops are asked to poll parents prior to arriving at camp as to how many family members will be visiting camp and eating with us Friday night.

Eating with your Scout
Payment for meals during the week can be made at the Administration Building where a meal ticket will be issued.  We are not set up to handle collecting money at the Dining Hall except for the Friday evening meal, which can be paid as you go through the line on Friday evening.
