Ouachita Trek

Since 1979, The Ouachita Trek has provided Scouts in the Cimarron Council a 3 day Philmont-like backpacking experience that takes place annually during Spring Break week.

The Ouachita National Recreation Trail stretches 223 miles through the scenic Ouachita Mountains of Central Arkansas and Southeaster Oklahoma. The "Ouachita Trail" runs from Talimena State Park in Oklahoma and ends at Pinnacle Mountain State Park, near Little Rock, Arkansas.
