Boy Scout Resident Camp

We welcome all Troops across Oklahoma & beyond to Boy Scout Resident Camp in the Cimarron Council.

Tired of just being a number at a mega camp that over crowds scouts each week without providing the cheerful service of individualized attention, great programs, and a truly memorable camp experience?  Consider Will Rogers Scout Reservation, a camp that has been in operation since 1939, offering 30 Merit Badges, over a dozen special awards & badges.  We serve real "home cooking" and plenty of delicious "made from scratch" meals, and then serve them family style, at your dining hall table, not with your troop waiting in the chow line for half an hour.

In addition to opportunities for Troops and Crews, we offer Eagle Quest, our first year camper program and Maverick Camp for those unable to attend with a Unit.

Our camp is growing, expanding, and getting better every year.  Be a part of a summer camp experience you just can't get anywhere else, come to Will Rogers Scout Reservation.

Eagle Quest

The Eagle Quest Program is designed to take a new Scout at summer camp and bring him nearly all the way to Tenderfoot, it also gives him a strong start toward the Second Class and First Class ranks. The program’s fast pace and stimulating material helps ensure first year campers experience a fun and exciting introduction to Boy Scout Summer Camps.

Maverick Camp

We recognize that there are Scouts who would like to come to Will Rogers when their troop doesn’t attend. They could be Scouts unable to attend with their troop because of other commitments or Scouts returning for a second time during a summer, or from small units without sufficient leadership.

Our Maverick Camping Program is intended to provide an opportunity for all Scouts to attend camp. The camp staff, together with leaders from small troops coming as maverick campers, will provide adult leadership for the provisional Troop. The fees and registration requirements for Maverick Camping are the same as for youth camping with their troop.

Merit Badge Program

Summer camp offers many opportunities for fun and advancement. Merit badges offered at WIll Rogers include Field Sports, Scout Craft, Aquatics, Handicrafts and Ecology/Conservation. For a complete listing, download the Boy Scout Leaders guide, avaliable on the right hand of the website Spring through Summer Camp.

Please be aware that some merit badges may have prerequisites and that summer camp is activity based. Only portions of these merit badges that are designed for presentation in a summer camp outdoor setting will be completed. Adult leaders should be prepared to follow up with their scouts and to provide opportunities for completing merit badges.
Materials required for Merit Badges may be purchased at the Trading Post or brought from home.

Visitors Policy

Parents are always welcome at camp. All visitors must check in at the Administration Building upon arrival at camp.

Family Night

Friday evening is Family Night! Families are encouraged to attend to visit their Scout. Check with your Troop on dinner time and there is a small charge to cover cost. Stay and enjoy the evening campfire program, it is sure to entertain.
