District Advancement Committee Meeting Information

The Pawnee Bill District Advancement Committee meets twice a month for the purpose of approving Eagle Service Projects and conducting Eagle Boards of Review.  These are on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month in room 107 of the First United Methodist Church at 6:30pm in Stillwater OK, located in downtown on 6th Street (Highway 51) .  Members of the Pawnee Bill District Advancement Committee are Jack Dillwith, Melanie Bayles, and George Mahoney.  The Committee also conducts Merit Badge Counselor Training several times a year, the last course was on September 10th.  Classes in 2006 will be announced here as they are scheduled.  The Pawnee Bill District Advancement Committee also occasionally conducts Merit Badge Clinics, maintains an extensive Merit Badge Counselor List, and works with the District Commissioner Corps to assure that all units are reporting advancement results on a regular basis.

The 101 District Advancement Committee is now organizing.  Steve Leonard is the District Advancement Chairman.  The Boy Scout Roundtable in January will focus on Life to Eagle Scout Transition.  Parents of Life scouts are also urged to attend this training.

The Enid Metro District Advancement Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm at Hammer Williams downstairs Board Room, below KOFM 1710 West Willow in Enid OK. In order for a Life scout to be considered for project approval or for his Eagle Board of Review the paperwork must be turned into Kenneth Bellar at the Cimarron Council Service Center no later than the 1st Tuesday of the month. For more information contact Keith Waken.

The Great Northwest District Advancement Committee is headed by Jim Walling.
